Founder and designer Carmel Patchett channels her love of nature by using high quality natural fabrics such as linen and cotton to keep her clothing light, cool and easy-to-wear. She adds knits for texture and silks for soft draping and elegance. Each garment is thoughtfully designed and carefully crafted to last season after season.Carmel launched her label as a one-woman show in Queensland in 1999 and has developed it to sell in more than 40 boutiques nationwide.

I also love to travel through Italy and the French countryside to soak up the fashion and lifestyle, which is effortlessly chic. You’ll find all these influences woven through my designs.

On her annual road trip along the east coast of Australia, Carmel personally visits her stockists every year and counts many of them as dear friends. Carmel has also launched three signature retail stores – all by the sea, of course – in Burleigh Heads on the Gold Coast and Peregian Beach and Mooloolaba on the Sunshine Coast. These retail stores are stocked with Carmel’s designs and other designer clothing labels which compliment her collection. Also handpicked homewares, furniture and design books and many more treasures found all inspired by her natural environment.
